Host 2012 Vancouver

November 4-6, BC’s Tourism & Hospitality Conference is taking place in Vancouver.
Early Bird registration deadline is October 15.

Host 2012 will provide a venue that will foster collaboration, innovation and growth in the industry.  It is the only event where tourism and hospitality professionals can connect and forge profitable business ties and relationships for the future.  And the key opportunity to build your knowledge of the innovations, talents and strategies from across the industry.

The Conference will feature a number of keynote speakers and discussion panels.  Darrell Bricker and John Wright, Canada’s leading pollsters with Ipsos Reid will speak to current consumer trends and how they affect the tourism and hospitality industry; Leonard Brody, a leading edge Canadian visionary, will speak to the business environment we can expect to be operating in ‘730 Days From Now’; and Michael Kerr will close the conference and make us laugh while teaching us how to create more inspiring, creative workplaces.

Breakout sessions cover topics in marketing, resource management, innovation and the current business environment.  Come and learn about: the pros and cons of Trip Advisor, what you need to know about mobile marketing, how to manage your multi-generational workforce, the shift to Experiential Travel, the challenges of sourcing local product for your F&B operation, a Pecha Kucha on the most innovative tourism and hospitality activities and sectors, and more!

The tourism and hospitality in British Columbia has a unique chance to capitalize on strength in numbers and to come together as one of British Columbia’s most important economic drivers.
