Tourism Fernie has just announced that a new film, Ascent to Powder – Tale of a Ski Town, is set to launch at the Toronto Snow Show on the Ski Television Main Stage on Thursday October 13th 6pm EST, and on digital platforms an hour later at 7pm EST.
The 22-minute film, is also being released on USA TV Networks this fall, and shows off the epic skiing and riding at Fernie Alpine Resort, Island Lake Catskiing and FWA Powder Catskiing. It features prominent locals Mark Gallup, Heiko Socher, Dylan Siggers, Andrea Byrne, Ross Janzen, Blair Craig, Kevin Giffin and indie band Shred Kelly. Additional skiers and riders include Nick McNutt, Mikel Witlox, Rob Heule, Ben Ogilvie, Dave Ortlieb and Luca Debari.
