Integra Air launched this new service between Cranbrook and Edmonton in June 2011. The service targets two main segments: 1) Integra Air is partnering with many of the region’s resorts and tourism organizations to provide attractive vacation packages to entice visitors to the region. 2) The Kootenay Rockies based employees who work in Northern Alberta and base their families in the region who need a simpler and less stressful way to commute.
The company is now entering Phase II of the initial service development, with the addition of flights between Cranbrook and Edmonton. Phase III will be the addition of direct flights to Fort McMurray, with the single stop-over in Edmonton. As demand for the service grows, the company also plans to move from a 16-seat aircraft to a 32-passenger aircraft. |
